Compendium Management Information System

CMIS is maintained by the National Office for Technology Acquisition and Promotion (NOTAP). It is a database for the storage, processing, retrieval and dissemination of information on R&D results and inventions from tertiary institutions, research institutes and private inventors across the country. It is the mechanism by which NOTAP captures and updates, on a continuous basis, R&D efforts in the country. It is based on the processing and evaluation of data in the CMIS that the Office periodically comes up with potentially viable R&D Results for possible commercialization e.g the Brown sugar Project, AVR Project, Essential Oil Project etc.
